 Description
Serviceman George Clifton Bendall. Bomadier Bendall was the son of George Henry and Alice Bendall, of New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand. Attended New Plymouth Boys High School in 1935. He left school to start working with L H Johnson Motors Ltd before enlisting for World War Two. Served in 7th Anti Tank Regiment. Bendall was killed in action, 30 November 1941, near Libya, aged 21 years.
