Description
Eleanor's parents were William Henry John Tobin, school teacher and Laura (nee Brown). Nell trained as a nurse at Wellington Hospital in 1915 and worked at Rotorua Hospital and Pukeora Sanatorium, Waipukurau. She married Alan Jordan, farmer and later orchardist of Tauranga. They had one daughter, Diana Elizabeth.
