Description
A black button front St John Ambulance officers tunic with two breast pockets, shoulder flaps and a belt. It has four buttons at the front and there are two silver coloured plastic badges on each collar. There are embossed buttons at the shoulder, breast pockets and front and two arch-shaped badges with " ST.JOHN" at the top of each sleeve and a winged Amalfi Cross on the left sleeve. There are three silver pips on each shoulder flap denoting the rank of officer. A Serving Brother medal bar is above the left breast pocket is a Serving Brother medal bar.
"SPECIALISTS IN / MENS SUITS / A ['A' larger font'] DVANCE [in between two horizontal lines] / NEWTON / AUCKLAND " is stitched in yellow thread on a rectangular black fabric label affixed below the collar on the interior of the tunic.
