Description
A South Vietnam Campaign medal. The medal is a six pointed gold coloured star with rays, superimposed by a white enamelled star with a green enamelled disc at the centre. The disc features a stylised map of Vietnam with a red flame between North and South Vietnam. On the reverse of the medal is a circle with a band containing the word " CHIEN-DICH " (Campaign) at the top and " BOI-TINH " (medal) at the bottom. Across the centre of the circle " VIETNAM ". The ribbon is green and white striped and has a platinum coloured metal banner shaped pin embossed with " 1960- " pinned to the front.
