from left John Bishop jnr, Edward Golding, William Henry Bishop approx 1903. Edwards father was Nicholas Golding, Sergeant of the British Army 65th Regiment based at Marsland Barracks. Edwards mother was Mary nee Bishop (originally Billing). John and William Bishop are Edward's half brothers. Nicholas and Mary married after Nicholas's wife Ann Golding died in 1875 and Mary's husband John Bishop died in 1869 during a typhoid influenza outbreak.
