Oral history recording. Bryan Ford Davies was born in Tauranga in 1913. In this interview, he recalls his flying experiences. Davies first learned to fly at the age of 16. He talks of the Hawera Aero Club and mentions the Western Federation of Flying Clubs. Davies also describes the process of 'going solo' and mentions other pilots whom he trained with.
