Description
A Stratford Technical High School gilded brass badge with brass fastening pin on rear. The enamelled front features a white snow-capped Mount Taranaki / Egmont with red sky above and a black band below. " S.T.H.S. " appears at base of shield surrounded by a red ground. Below the shield within a scroll is the school motto " PALMA NON SINE PULVERE " with a black enamel ground. Engraved on rear is " P. Marsh ". Also on rear is the manufactures name and address "MAYER & KEAN / WELLINGTON".
