 Description
A set of two pens in a commemorative case. The pens are matte silver ballpoints, with shiny silver metal bands, nibs and clips. On the barrel of the pens " Todd Energy McKee LPG Plant / September 2011 " is printed in grey ink. The pens are housed in a black plastic box with " Official Opening / Todd Energy McKee LPG Plant / 15 September 2011 " printed in grey on the box lid. Inside the box the pens are supported on dark grey material with a pale grey material on the inside of the lid.

The Todd Energy McKee LPG Processing Plant was officially opened on September 15 2011. The plant was completed over18 months by mainly Taranaki companies, and its opening signalled the booming energy industry in Taranaki at this time. The plant has the capacity to produce 27,000 tonnes of LPG, which is approximately 19% of New Zealand's LPG needs.
