Medal, War 1939-45

Description
A Canadian issue War Medal 1939-45. The medal features a crowned left facing portrait of King George VI on the obverse with "GEORGE IVS VI D:G: BR OMN:REX ET :INDIAE:IMP" marked around the outside. The reverse features a lion trampling a dragon. "1939/ 1945 " is marked above the lion's tail. The medal appears to have gone through a fire and the ribbon is missing.
