Croix de Guerre

Description
A French Croix de Guerre. The bronze cross also features crossed swords. The centre of the obverse of the cross features a right facing profile of a women wearing a laurel wreath which represents the French Republic. " REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE " is marked around the edge. " 1939" is marked on the reverse. The green and orange striped ribbon is attached to the cross through a horizontally pierced barrel suspender.
