 Description
Homestead belonging to Captain Thomas Good and his family in Ōeo, South Taranaki. The house is a low timber-clad building with a verandah or porch with seven posts along the front. The verandah sits along the centre of the house, with matching sections on either side of the verandah that each have a window and a decorative finial at the peak of the roof on either side. A garden sits in front of the house, with the left side of the house partially obscured by a large tree and bushes. There is a partially shaded grass clearing in the foreground.
