A deep royal blue cape with a white fur trim at neck, sides and foot, and a hook clasp at the throat. The back has clusters of coloured metal beads on a wide purple background and small clusters at the shoulders.

This cape was worn by the winner of the Miss Brooklands competition held annually at New Plymouth's Bowl of Brooklands. Daphne Carter made the Miss Bowl of Brooklands dresses, runners up dresses and capes for several years during the 1960s.
