Description
A khaki forage cap with a red fabric poppy sewn onto the left hand side. Made from heavy coarse woollen fabric. The folded sides are secured by a single hook and eye fastener on both sides. Two buttons at front. Flaps can be folded down by undoing fasteners and buttons. Side flaps can then be fastened under the chin. When side flaps are down a small peak is revealed at the front of the cap. Has "N.Z.^.D" stamped in black inside left hand side edge. "7 1/? " stamped on inside right hand side edge. Next to this is " ME " hand written in faded black ink.
