Ceramic dinner plate glazed on the top surface with an olive green colour and decorated with five radiating rings of dotted line patterns. The maker's mark and design appears on the base. The design is called "Egmont" with an image of the mountain above the word. Text below image reads "Egmont / Pat. No. 126 / by CROWN LYNN / NEW ZEALAND / Permanent Detergent / Proof Colours".

The Egmont pattern was designed by Crown Lynn design department head David Jenkin.
