Description
A Hawera Technical High School 1st XV rugby cap. The cap is made of six triangular pieces of velvet fabric sewn together form the crown. Three pieces are pale blue and three are maroon. There is gold edging around each triangle and the lower edge of the cap. There is a frayed gold coloured tassel at the top of the crown where there is also a small button. " 1934 " is embroidered in gold coloured thread at the front. The cap has a small half-moon peak in pale blue velvet at the front and it has a black lining. " Chas Hill & Son / WELLINGTON " is written in gold thread on a small black label inside.
