Description
A Victory Medal. The yellow bronze medal features a standing Victory figure on the obverse. The figure is holding a palm branch in her left facing hand and extending her right facing arm. " THE GREAT / WAR FOR / CIVILISATION / 1914-1919 " is marked on the reverse inside a leaf design. "10948 W.C.2 T.W. HENDERSON. N.Z.E.F." is marked around the outside edge of the medal." is inscribed on the edge. The ribbon is a double rainbow colour with crimson on the edges and red in the centre and is fitted with a mentioned in dispatches oak leaf clasp.
