Mere Tahana was my great great grandmother. She looks like a first cousin of mine called Irene Miller. I have visited her lovely grave which Kum Sing provided for her at Te Henui Cemetary. Her name is spelt as "Kum Sung". Trevor and Val Tapp were my mother's cousins and they lived at Trentham Upper Hutt. I think Val is the oldest living descendent.

Daughter of Mary Bishop ('Timandra') and Wiremu Tahana, Hua Block. Married Kum Sing.Died early twenties probably tuberculosis as father. Buried with son Louis in Te Henui Cemetery.
